Tournament organizer and directors are not compensated. All revenue
collected (after expenses) will be part of the prize pool. (The NASPA
participation fees are part of the expenses).
In addition to cash prizes, gold, silver, and bronze medals will be
awarded to the first, second, and third place finishers and to the
first, second, and third place performance finishers. As part of the
tradition started at last year's California Open, the medal winners
will be seranaded with the singing of the the offical California state
song, I Love You, California.
High word prizes and door prizes will be won throughout the tournament.
All prizes this year will consist of Ghiradelli chocolate. |
